He specialized in depicting fruits with realistic colors and beautiful texture.

A student of Lavieille, he participated in his first salon in 1879.

The canvases measure: 73.5 x 54.5 cm.

They have been restored by a museum-approved art restorer.

However, it should be noted that there is a slight lack of tension in the canvases.
