Horse racing, obstacle jumps depicted in watercolor with gouache highlights by the English painter Denis Aldridge.

Denis Aldridge was born in Syston, Leicestershire in 1891.

He studied at Bilton Grange, near Rugby, and later at Arrow.

Considered a promising student at the art school, Denis Aldridge had a fondness for horses, which he portrayed in various poses and activities.

The artwork I am presenting to you is in very good condition. It is dated 1972 and signed by the artist, who passed away in 1985.
