Beautiful pair of still lifes, each signed by Jules Antoine Pelletier. A 19th-century painter born in Amsterdam, he specialized in portraits and still lifes featuring fruits and flowers. Jules Antoine Pelletier exhibited from 1848 to 1880 and was a student of Rudder and Couture.

The paintings I am presenting to you are oil on wooden panel. They have been cleaned by a museum-accredited restorer. The frames are recent. The panels measure: 16.5 cm X 12.5 cm. The frames measure: 28.5 cm X 25 cm.
